Purple stimulates the part of the brain related to creativity. At the same time it has a calming effect. Violet is a lighter shade of purple and is included in the spectrum. Purple on the other hand is a complex color and in terms of color type there are big differences between them. Girls like pink and purple very much. Purple is a color appropriate for children. Purple can be easily used in the rooms of preschool children that are usually involved in creative activities as well as teenage girls’ rooms for purposes of contributing to their academic skills. Due to the fact that it also contributes to physical and spiritual serenity, purple and its different shades can be used in the rooms of hyperactive and highly animated children.
Pigments are colored chemicals (such as melanin) in animal tissues. For example, the Arctic fox has a white coat in winter (containing little pigment), and a brown coat in summer (containing more pigment), an example of seasonal camouflage (a polyphenism). Many animals, including mammals, birds, and amphibians, are unable to synthesize most of the pigments that color their fur or feathers, other than the brown or black melanins that give many mammals their earth tones. For example, the bright yellow of an American goldfinch, the startling orange of a juvenile red-spotted newt, the deep red of a cardinal and the pink of a flamingo are all produced by carotenoid pigments synthesized by plants. In the case of the flamingo, the bird eats pink shrimps, which are themselves unable to synthesize carotenoids. The shrimps derive their body color from microscopic red algae, which like most plants are able to create their own pigments, including both carotenoids and (green) chlorophyll. Animals that eat green plants do not become green, however, as chlorophyll does not survive digestion.
In contrast to black, it is considered reliable and supportive by many people. It can be specifically used in teenagers’ rooms. Due to the fact that it is a down-to-earth color influenced by the energy of red and yellow and the seriousness of black, it could prove helpful in developing feelings of responsibility and protection in teenagers. It is a color associated with will and possession. Brown as a color has positive influence on the family and friendships of teenagers. At the same time it gives peace and serenity. It calms teenagers high spirits and helps them to remain down to earth in the academic field. To achieve success in education simultaneously with relaxation you can choose to color a part of your teenager’s room in a shade that is yellow intense. Moreover, silky beige and straw colors can be used together in nurseries. This color gives rise to feelings of confidence and is relaxing.
My earliest memories growing up, were sitting at the breakfast table with my dad, before the sun came out, outlining and coloring the fonts of the newspaper. He would rise at 4am for work and we would sit for an hour before he left…and color together. As an adult.., I carried on the tradition by buying children’s coloring books at the dollar store..and practicing calligraphy as a hobby. When adult coloring books came out in the recent years.., I was ecstatic! I still color early mornings at breakfast rime..and also late nights to wind down. It has helped with my memory recall..as well as with the physical negative effects of thyroid disease, since an early age. Also as an introvert, it helps me to recuperate after a long day of normal kids and stress.
When cephalopod molluscs like squid and cuttlefish find themselves against a light background, they contract many of their chromatography, concentrating the pigment into a smaller area, resulting in a pattern of tiny, dense, but widely spaced dots, appearing light. When they enter a darker environment, they allow their chromatography to expand, creating a pattern of larger dark spots, and making their bodies appear dark. Amphibians such as frogs have three kinds of star-shaped chromatophore cells in separate layers of their skin. The top layer contains ’phosphorescent’ with orange, red, or yellow pigments; the middle layer contains ’sophomores’ with a silvery light-reflecting pigment; while the bottom layer contains ’melanophores’ with dark melanin.
Batesian mimicry was first described by pioneering naturalist Henry W. Bates. When an edible prey animal comes to resemble, even slightly, a distasteful animal, natural selection favors those individuals that even very slightly better resemble the distasteful species. This is because even a small degree of protection reduces prediction and increases the chance that an individual mimic will survive and reproduce. For example, many species of hover fly are colored black and yellow like bees, and are in consequence avoided by birds (and people).
